What Are The Roles & Objectives of Scientific Research?

Scientific Research is a contribution to science by systematic collection interpolation and evolution of data in a planned manner of scientific case study & research. The result is that small groups through scientific studies are socialized, and new information is revealed concerning diagnoses.

Scientific research can be classified in several ways classification can made by analysing the data collection techniques based on the time medium through which they are applied.

  • Observational and experimental are part of data collection.
  • Descriptive analytical are causal relationship.
  • Retrospective prospective and cross-sectional are part of relationships.

Observational Research- Observational research is more interesting than other studies. All the participants are grouped and evaluated according to a research plan or protocol. The observational method describes the behavior of a subject. In the observational study the factors and the events examined by the researcher.

All the variables except for the examined factor or event cannot be kept constant. Observational research is used to collect data by performing research in the real world and people’s actions. The purpose of observational data collection is to observe and describe the behavior of a subject.

Interventional Research (Experimental Studies)- Experimental research helps a researcher gather the necessary data for making better research decisions and determining the facts of a research study. In this research, there is a control room aimed to be tested.

Interventional research is categorized into two parts:

  • Quasi-experimental research and clinical research.
  • Quasi-experimental research is a type of research design that can attempt to establish cause and effect relationship between quasi-experimental research and clinical research.

Clinical Research- Clinical Study and Research have the same meaning. drugs, invasive, interventions, medical devices and operations, diets, physical therapy, and diagnostic tools are relevant in the context.
